School Holiday Program
Give kids the chance to step into the boots of a real zookeeper for a day. The School Holiday Zookeeper Program offers hands-on experiences where children can explore animal care, learn about wildlife, and discover what happens behind the scenes at the zoo.
Designed for curious young animal lovers aged 9–12, this one-day program combines learning, fun, and unforgettable animal encounters.
A Day as a Zookeeper
Participants will spend the day working alongside our team and discovering what it takes to care for animals.
Activities may include:

Behind-the-scenes zoo tour

Preparing and feeding animals

Learning how keepers care for different species

Participating in enrichment activities for animals

Close animal encounters
This is a fun and educational way for kids to learn about animal welfare and conservation.
