Prep - Fabulous Features
Program Overview
Prep students explore how animals are identified and grouped by observing their external features, while learning that humans are also mammals and how we care for living things.
Through a guided Conservation Workshop, students observe mammals such as koalas, capuchin monkeys, Brazilian squirrel monkeys and emperor tamarins, focusing on features like fur, limbs and movement.
The program also includes a hands-on barnyard encounter, where students can feed and gently interact with alpacas, miniature horses, miniature Highland cows, rabbits and guinea pigs, encouraging empathy and respect for animals.
